Tina Chatterley MNCP (Snr. Accred), MHGI, HG DipP, LCA Life Coach, SDS Accred

Clinical Supervision (CSAccred AAC) Advanced

Therapist, Life Coach, Clinical Supervisor and Therapeutic Trainer

I set out to create a practice based on supporting clients to meet their needs to live their lives in a happy, healthy and fulfilling way personally and professionally. I am passionate about combining a professional, ethical approach with integrity and authenticity. I aim to be BS free at all times and as always put people before profit! I want to help build up their confidence so that they can take control of their lives, putting the past behind them and strive forward towards the future they deserve. I hope to be an approachable and relatable therapist and life coach who provides practical and emotional support in my discreet out of town office.

Having grown up in a totally dysfunctional family, I really do understand how we can be deeply affected at any point in our lives by learnt behaviours, negative beliefs or abuse in any form and how these experiences can emotionally hijack us and hold us back from living the life we deserve now.

An early relationship with someone with multiple addictions also gave me a passion for supporting people who have survived domestic abuse – men and women! I am a firm believer in what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!

I became an emotional healthcare professional in the late 90’s following a 20 year career in finance. I recognised I needed fulfilment, meaning and purpose and to do my life’s work as opposed to just doing a job. I have never looked back! Having done the “right thing” for many years I downsized my whole life, gave up my job, sold my house complete with furniture and started up on my own! I created the life I always wanted to live instead of the life I thought I should live!

I also kept my husband who has supported me through every change and who continues to be my soul mate, best friend and partner in crime! The other loves of my life are my stepson and daughter in law and our amazing twin granddaughters who constantly teach me about life, love and laughter!

As a therapist and life coach, I am here to provide you with the emotional, personal, professional and relationship support needed to cope with change, find your real authentic self, take control of your life and build the future that you deserve.

Whether it is taking stock of your life and what is important to you, helping you to process and recover from abuse and trauma, breaking unhealthy patterns and habits or even helping you to understand how the different sexes are wired and how to remove yourself from controlling and toxic relationships, I am here to support you.

If you are looking for someone who ‘gets you’ with no BS involved, which whom you can regain perspective, develop focus and direction and take control of your life, please do get in contact with me via email, phone or Facebook. Together we can stop you simply existing, you can start living and realise your potential!

How I Have Helped

Tina has a wicked sense of humour and helps you to get everything back into perspective and really take the drama out of your life so you don’t get emotionally hijacked!

EJ worrier

When my wife suggested couples counselling I thought I would have two women ganging up on me instead of one! Tina actually helped us both to see things from each others point of view and to work together not against each other.

NA nagged husband

I felt awful that I resented the changes that having our son had made to our relationship. I felt so helpless as a dad and ashamed that I wished we had never had him. Tina helped me to see that many new dads feel the same and it has nothing to do with not loving my partner or my child.

WLQ new dad

As a bloke I liked Tina’s no crap approach! She lives in the real world and tells it like it is – no psychobabble rubbish! Totally solution focused.

MT initially sceptical client

I really felt I was going mad and cracking up until Tina guided me to start getting my emotional needs met and using my resources properly.

JB sensitive soul

I used to get so mad with my boyfriend expecting him to be able to read my mind without me telling him what was wrong! Tina helped me to learn about left and right brain stuff which really helped.

DG relationship coaching

I could have divorced my wife and then gone on to repeat exactly the same patterns with someone else if I had not learnt to understand women more from Tina – now I know how we are wired differently I deal with life at home more calmly!

RK confused husband

Tina helped supported me in recognising that the only person that was hurting was me and that taking back control of my life was going to much more effective and that happiness is the best revenge!

TH abuse survivor

It was such a relief to discover that depression can be experienced by even the strongest and sanest person and that there is a massive difference between emotional health issues and psychiatric conditions!

MM depression

I am usually really guarded around people I don’t know but I felt as if I had known Tina for years and it really helped me to open up!

ADLM Depression/anxiety disorder

I had been for counselling and therapy before and it had really put me off! Going over and over stuff that distressed me even more and made me feel worse. Right from the beginning with Tina it felt different. She supported me in putting the past where it belonged – behind me!
